pow are through to the ESWC finals after winning the Chinese qualifier following a 2-0 victory over Nface.GM (16-11 on de_cache, 16-13 on de_inferno) The LAN Finals of the Chinese ESWC qualifiers took place from October 3-4 with the top four teams from the online phase in attendance. Besides the spot at the world finals later this month there were also approximately €4,000 up for grabs. TyLoo, without a doubt the most decorated team in China, cut a frustrating figure in the qualifier as they came in third place following a 1-2 defeat against Ngface.GM in the Consolidation final. Pow, who had topped the Upper Bracket, thus requiring to win only one best-of-three match to scoop the big prize, looked very strong in the Grand Final and disposed of Nface.GM on just two maps, picking up a 16-11 win on de_cache and a 16-13 success on de_inferno.
